Typically a cold for me drags out for weeks…I mostly recovered from this one within a few days. Maybe the vegan eating, maybe a weak cold…who knows. However a real impact I’ve noticed is that after lunch is not nearly as a drag as it had been with non-vegan meals. I’m able to more easily stay alert after lunch instead of feeling like I need to hibernate.
Day 6
Breakfast:
- banana
Lunch:
- Quinoa
- Green beans
- Carrots
Dinner:
- Potato
- Black beans
- Spinach leaves
Snacks:
- Carrots and hummus
- Almond milk

Do you find you’re more hungry than you were with regular food?
I snack more on healthy stuff throughout the day now instead of loading up on junk food. But, I also do a pretty good job of balancing the carbs with fruits/vegetables so I stay pretty full most of the time.
